WordPress workshop for Nonprofit Organizations
You will be hard-pressed to find a successful nonprofit organization that doesn’t have a website. Bottom line is that nonprofit organization’s that want to make a professional impression and raise money need a site that will inspire confidence and create interest. Like any other website, it should be easy to navigate, user-frindly, and as visually appealing as possible.
Websites are easier and less expensive to create than you think: You don’t have to be a computer geek to create a professional-looking website. If you can use MS Word, you can learn WordPress and be the webmaster for your organization. WordPress is free, and you need to pay only domain registration and hosting server.
For my WP workshop for nonprofit organizations, I will tailor workshop curriculum based on your specific needs and objectives, including website architecture, blogging, event management, SEO (so that your site can be found via Google search engine) and linking your organization to social media, where you can attract new supporters and encourage current ones to return. I can provide on-site WordPress workshop at your office, or at The CodeFactory in Ottawa.
