5 easy ways to improve nonprofits website

1) Use bios and headshots for your staff and board members.

While the focus of your nonprofit is naturally the constituency you directly serve, make sure you highlight the experiences and idealism of the folks who work “behind the scenes.” This can build credibility, especially for those who don’t know who you are.  A portrait of your employees helps to highlight your organizations’ human side. To make your brand image even more beautiful, high-quality pictures of your employees is a must. Portraits are a great way to build a solid reputation online, but most importantly to reinforce your organization’s values.  Today, most of the smartphones can generate great photos and you don’t need to invest an expensive camera.

2) Use images of humans

No matter what your cause, find a way to use human faces in your content. Human expressions have a limitless ability to convey emotion, and there’s a special part of everyone’s brain (the fusiform face area) that lights up when they’re encountered. Today, we can easily produce images with your smartphone and you can increase the engagements with your audience.

3) Share financial information

You can gain constituents’ trust by being upfront about your financial information. Oftentimes, donors can easily research your financial status online anyway, so transparency matters now more than ever. Be transparent about the money you raise and where it goes, and your donors will feel a lot more comfortable trusting your efforts.

4) Display sponsors logos

If you are funded by well know trusted corporations, it is a good idea to display their logos to increase your credibility.

5) Shaw your results

Illustrate the statistics and impacts you made as visually as possible.  You can easily highlight heading and numbers with WordPress Elementor.  And add a little blurb about what the number means. Your donors and supporters do care about the results and impacts you have made.
