Transforming Nonprofit Intake Processes: The Power of Modern CRMs

Introduction

In the world of nonprofit organizations, every moment and resource is precious. Yet, many nonprofits are still caught in the hassle of old-fashioned intake processes. They’re using PDFs, Word documents, and manually organizing client info in Excel. It’s time to embrace modern tools like Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, which can make nonprofits more efficient and impactful.

Old vs. New

Think about how nonprofits usually get client info – it’s not very smart.

The Old Way

People fill out forms on paper, sign them, and then send them by mail or fax. Once the paper forms arrive at the nonprofit’s office, someone has to type all the info into Excel. It’s a lot of work and takes a lot of time.

The New Way

But there’s a better way! With modern CRMs, nonprofits can change the game. We’ve introduced a simple online form for intake. People can fill it out online and add their signatures digitally. No more paper, no more faxing. It’s easy for everyone.

No More Waiting

The CRM system takes care of things. When someone sends a form, the system sends emails. One goes to the person who filled out the form, asking them to check and sign it. Another email goes to the nonprofit’s team to let them know the form is there. No more waiting for the mail, and no more typing things into Excel.

The Impact

This change is huge for nonprofits.

Our nonprofit client saved a ton of time. They didn’t have to deal with paper, and they didn’t have to type things into Excel. That meant more time for what really matters – helping people.

So, why do some nonprofits still do things the old way? Please watch our video and let me know what you think?
