Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) has a new initiative called Young Working Women’s project (YWW). YWW is targeted at a specific audience – women between the ages of 20-35 who have recently started a new job, are looking for a job, or are beginning a career in their desired field. Likely university graduates and young professionals. Women who desire to join a community in which they can share their experiences from the workplace and learn from other’s while being provided with tools and training to overcome barriers to their success.

The target audience for the YWW project is defined as women between the ages of 20-35 who have recently started a new job, are looking for a job, or are beginning a career in their desired field. Ideal audiences are university graduates and young professionals. They are familiar with the online community and social aspect and looking for a community in which they care to share their experiences from the workplace and learn from others while being provided with tools and training to overcome barriers to their success.

Our web design approach was to:

  • Allow the targeted audience to informed about the program.
  • Encourage targeted audience to sign up for YWW newsletter/blog and subscribe to YWW mailing list.
  • Allow CFUW to give discounts – UPS and Via Rail – as part of qualified lead gen.
  • Allow the targeted audience to sign up and pay for membership online
  • Track and conversion rate (sign up or something) of visitors coming from social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
